How To Do Hair - Simple French Twist
Are you interesting in doing hair in a French twist for yourself or perhaps your daughter? It's a good idea to learn how to do hair in a French twist, because it definitely has advantages. It is a beautiful and elegant hairstyle.
Classy enough to be worn to the prom or a dinner party, and casual enough to wear with jeans, the French twist is just gorgeous. And once you have it up, you won't need to re-do your hair over and over. It's quite low maintenance and stays in place all day long.
First, you will gather your hair in to a simple pony tail. Make sure that you like the way the hair around your face looks. Having a few wisps next to your face can be a good thing.
Now for the second step: Twist your pony tail while holding it up in the air. It doesn't matter which way, but two or three revolutions should have your head beginning to feel the pressure of the twist.
After this, fold the now-twisted pony tail in half. Use a pony tail holder to secure the bottom part of the twist. Now the middle of the twist should be positioned just at the base of your head.
Next, take your halved pony tail and twist it a few more times. When it comes to learning how to do hair in a French twist, you'll find that this is the hardest part.
You'll get the hang of it after you practice a few times. Now you'll twist it and, with your hand, pin it in place to your head.
Now, take several bobby pins and use them to secure the twist to your head. By pushing the pins in where the twist meets the hair on your head, you will be able to hide the pins a little better.
If you're doing this by yourself, you can use a hand held mirror in front of you and the bathroom mirror behind you to check on the way it looks.
When you are satisfied that you have learned how to do hair in a French twist, and you like the look, spray some holding spray and voila! You are set.
