Sun Damaged Skin: Rely on Natural Skin Products

by Aileen Fitzharris

When we're young our skin is very resilient and bounces back from damage when damaged. However, there are some situations that will negatively affect your skin, but won't show signs until many years later, such as sun damage. So, don't think that the sunburn you had in your teens won't come back to haunt you in your older years.

Sun damage is one of the biggest factors to promote premature aging. As soon as your thirties come around (sooner if you were an avid sunbathing fan in your teens), you can see the effects of sun exposure. The tale-tale signs are noticeable dryness, dark spots, and wrinkles.

Even though sun damage cannot be undone you can do a few things to treat the lesser damage or simply mask some of the signs of premature aging.

Using natural skin products is a great way of treating damaged skin gently and effectively. These products usually contain high levels of antioxidants to neutralize the free radicals caused by sun exposure. Finding the right treatment means finding wrinkle creams that not only contain potent antioxidants, but also contain other ingredients such as hyaluronic acid or Helix Aspersa Muller extract.

However, the use of topical lotions and creams isn't the only to control premature aging due to sun exposure. Firstly, no one should ever go around life without the best "anti aging cream", sunscreen.

Approximately thirty minutes before going outside, you should apply a sunscreen lotion that has an SPF of at least 30. Once outside, make sure that you reapply every 45 minutes to maintain your skin protected. If you don't want to reapply so frequently, then you can purchase a sunscreen with a higher SPF.

Wear protective garments when you go outside. These protective garments include wide brimmed hats and long sleeved tops. If you can't conceive not having a tan during summer, then you should use a spray-on tan or a self-tanning lotion.

Anti aging skin care is not just about the topical application of creams and lotions. A healthy diet can also help your skin look younger. Maintain a diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables, and water to keep your skin hydrated and healthy.

These foods also contain antioxidants that help neutralize free radicals. Other foods that you should incorporate into your diet are whole grains and lean proteins (like fish).

Some foods that are notoriously high in antioxidants are blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. Berries are so beneficial to skin care that they are even used in natural skin care products because of their antioxidant properties.

BIOSKINREJUVENATION is a natural skin care product that helps inhibit the production of melanin. This anti aging lotion contains a key natural ingredient that works as a great moisturizer for sun damaged and aged skin: snail serum. Another important ingredient that can be found in this wrinkles cream is hyaluronic, an ingredient that makes any wrinkle cream a beneficial treatment for aging skin.
